About Duane Gentry, Founder & Team Leader.
Duane Gentry is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in business, finance, and entrepreneurship. He has a strong background in banking and financial management, having worked in finance for banking & Fortune 500 Companies early in his career. In 1998, he purchased a home services company and served as its president for 22 years. Under his leadership, the company's revenue grew 20X, and he successfully sold it in 2018. Duane continued to serve as the president of his former company and as the Chief Operating Officer of a regional platform company. Currently, Mr. Gentry holds the position of president in a property management and real estate development firm. He has extensive experience in reviewing, consulting, and valuing private companies, as well as managing and directing multiple M&A transactions since 2018. Duane has worked with clients from various industries, including Buy-Side, Sell-Side, and Generational Transfer.
Duane Gentry is a graduate of the University of NC, where he obtained a BA in Finance. He furthered his education by earning an MBA from the University of NC Pembroke and an Executive Mergers and Acquisitions Certification from Columbia Business School. Additionally, he holds an unlimited mechanical contractor's license in three states. Outside of his professional endeavors, Duane is actively involved in his local community. He is passionate about mentoring young leaders and dedicates his time to serving various charitable, arts, and mission organizations.
